You better find somewhere to store it. Cyrpto is global thus everyone can put different forms of currency into it. US banks are not. Stocks are based on the real economy and energy and inflation is going to kill lots of those off. Feds raising the rates will hurt gold and silver prices but will have no affect on energy prices that cause inflation. FDIC is insolvent. Too many social programs and big government. We could turn piles of dog shit in plastic bags into money and give it a value with labor and the banks would loan it out. Thanks dc Crypto is vastly faith-based and locked in to disposable income for retail investors. If they have no disposable income, they'll withdraw their money.. if western banks fail, think about where you'll be able to withdraw the funds to? BTC is a ponzi with no utility, if it drops to around the 10k mark, then nobody will want to mine the remaining coins due to the sheer costs involved now on the final 2m coins. |

CFTC Commissioner Seeks Crypto Regulation after Terra Collapse Pham, who assumed the top CFTC post in April, thinks that the collapse of Terra has made it crucial for immediate crypto regulations to save public interest. She wants a collaborative approach with the US Congress toward the regulations. “So, I really welcome the efforts of Congress to provide a clear and holistic regulatory framework over crypto, and to make it very clear and even to expand the CFTC's jurisdiction in this space, to make sure that there's that clarity for the industry so that way there can be more growth in compliant digital asset markets with adequate protections for the retail public,” the Commissioner said. Meanwhile, the regulator continues to bust violators in the cryptocurrency investment space, including the ones in the spot markets. The agency has already made over 50 enforcement actions, imposing $750 million in penalties. [link to www.financemagnates.com (secure)] BTC and all ALT coins will have to comply with rules and regulations sooner than later, smart holders are getting out because the cryptos won't be as volatile and bullish as previous times, investors too are getting out, but gamblers, mostly clueless, will continue to ride their wet dream until the news hits the wire and they get caught pants down holding their bags. So there's still a lot of money to make with cryptos, playing hype momentums and of course the coming dead cat bounces, but the wild era is over, the game is getting tougher now. |

Speaking of the majors ETH BTC. It’s just another gamblers paradise like stonks were to the tards going all in, so when markets crash so does crypto. It will eventually find a base somewhere where there is real value of using it for economics say if the worlds banking system collapses then it might take a form of its own again. Which protocol wins who knows but most likely something like NEAR ect. Unless eth magically fixes fees and speed which will never happen. |
