What should we buy now - looking 18 months in the future?
I'm curious -

What should we buy now - looking 18 months in the future?

We all see the writing on the wall.
Which products or items will see the highest inflation?
What could we buy now, to save 18 months down the line?

Burial plots for your family. The truth stings like a motherfucker.

If things devolve the course the panickers and shit-stirrers on here believe it will, then many will end their own misery, and others will be lost to murderous pillagers.

Of course, all the tough guys that post here will be fine - just ask them. They can all shoot the wings off mosquitos at a hundred yards, and stand behind their guns when someone else is firing back at them with the same intent.

All I can say is that there's gonna be a lot of chest thumpers shitting their pants if things go raw. Enjoy the show.

Wood stove that you can cut hole for exhaust in one room in your rambler. You might survive winter and if you eat your neighbor.

Beans for planting.
Reloading equipment.
A nice still. You can grow your own corn and yeast is easy to keep going. If you need sugar, use maple syrup, sorghum, or cane syrup. All easy to make if you have the equipment.

You know, we kid around in here (far too often), but the reality is, we're talking about civil war and defense against fellow Americans instead of unifying against the greater global(ist) threat in the form of the NWO, China, Russia and enemies within.

That is, what good is it to prep, etc., unless you are in an area where you know your neighbors and can stick together.

This is a blessing to a handful in this country, while the majority will implode by simply not knowing anyone where they live, or unfortunately, those who live in a large city like NYC, LA, Atlanta or similar.

And before you give some asshole reply (common on GLP) about how they should "get out" or whatever, consider that whatever role they might serve in any of those cities, might well serve many others, even you without realizing it.

Right, been sort of starting on that. Buying two instead of one, till it gets to be too much for the coming 2-3 years.

Anything "Oil" based was a target of mine, like trash bags, plastic bags and even toothpaste. (a lot of petroleum used in the toobing)

Good point; I’ve always stocked zip locks just because I use a lot. But anything plastic/rubber is probably wise. An extra set of tires for the truck and car now will probably save a grand or two over the next year.
