Here in NW Indiana, I can still ride around on the bus for 85 cents because I'm a senior. Regular fare is $1.60 and transfers are free. I can go all the way to downtown Chicago from a small, local, train, for $7.50 which is not much higher than gas. I'd say more folks taking buses and trains are the wave of the future here.

I live in a tiny town 20 miles from any store. I also work construction. I need a truck to haul my tools to jobsites. 3 per gallon scared me. 4 per gallon made me make plans. 5 per gallon really starts to hurt. 6 per gallon I will shut my truck down.

Central Indiana here. On Sunday gas was $4.59. Three days later it had jumped to $4.89. FJB!

It's $7.16/gal CAD here where I live.

Was 4.09 2 days ago, 4.39 yesterday and 4.54 today in Nebraska. This is not sustainable...
