That was sex on wheels in the 80s

Video was correct. My 6 foot 1 dad could not fit in the Countach. And he could not push clutch pedal without hitting brakes. These cars were built for tiny Italian men.

My 04.5 Silverado and whatever damn payload I got.

I used to have pictures of the countach and testarossa plastered all over my walls, like many 80s boys.

I would own one in a heartbeat just for that huge hit of nostalgia I have for that time.

Today though, my drool is reserved for say, a heavily modded mid 90s Landcruiser or a Diesel truck set up for work.

An OBS Ford or Chevy set up right gets me admiring as well.

Weird right?

I see a fully optioned Diesel on nice 22.5 Semi rims set up for welding....I'm in love.


Same can be said for semi's.

I see a Kenworth W900 or Pete 379 all gussied up with chicken lights, bull-bar, huge stacks burbling, and chrome....drooling.


I will say this though, there is a very wealthy man that lives near me on a 1000 acre ranch here in N. Central Florida and he is often seen in his Ferrari F40 or his McLaren F1.

Both of those cars are the last great analog cars of the 1900s before digital/technology based cars took over

I still remember seeing it debut in a du Pont Registry car magazine and being absolutely blown away. That car looked like something out of a scifi movie.

Too bad it never launched. Could've been a fantastic American Exotic.

I have to be honest. Paganis are literal works of art.

I had the pleasure of seeing one in Orlando and even sitting in it.

The owner had the Zonda R and the Huayra.

I couldn't sit in the Zonda being it a 5 mil track bases monster but the "cheaper" 1.5 mil Huayra I was able to sit in.

The interior is a fucking work of art. Delicious textures of milled billet, leather, toggle switches that feel so rich, and stupid good stereo.

I'd be the happiest man in the world with a garage with these in it.

I have the 97 F350 7.3 SRW and a 97 Landcruiser. But I can't afford right now to build them the way I want.

The Landcruiser is clean and has a TRD Supercharger and my 97 F350 is clean and has a 4inch lift on 36's.

But sooo much more I want to do to them and my 2011 Cummins I want to turn into a welding rig but 20k to get the proper set up.

Just don't have it.

Ferrari F40???
I'm a little short of the 1.5-2mil needed to get one and don't get me started on maintenance cost.

I have a soft spot for old iron, especially Gassers.

I have a Smart Roadster.

Its my dream car.

Everyone thinks its a Porche, but when I tell them it cant even reach sixty in 10 seconds, I see the disappointment on their face.

It cost £1500 and I love it, I just love it.

No slowing down on corners, convertible, Ridiculously good on fuel, comfortable, small, light, fun.

If I go do a job in it, I pull up to where im going, and noone has to remember my name.

"Where's that guy with the little car?"

It looks like it will be a terrible car on paper. But in reality, its amazing.
