Quoting: TheBaker But the BBC's Nick Robinson points out that recent prime ministers who have "won" confidence votes have gone on to lose in the longer term - Margaret Thatcher resigned eight days after winning, Theresa May did the same within six months, and John Major lost to Tony Blair in a landslide at the general election. However, he says he believes Johnson is willing to fight for the job - and "will probably cling on and wait for something to turn up". Boris doesn't do the right thing though and only cares about himself and will just blunder on his own personal crusade dragging UK into military conflict with Russia. Indeed, if he wins he will never resign Boris Johnson has said MANY times he will not resign. If the Tories do not get rid of him Labour will have a landslide victory in the next election. It will make Tony Blair's landslide look like small fry. If the Tories keep Boris as leader Labour could put a monkey up against Boris at the next election and they would win. The Tories simply do not understand the anger and the hatred in the UK for Boris. Other Prime Ministers have resigned after a no-confidence vote. Boris is not going to. |
