Easy to read the future on that one. That's when people are going to probably go full nuts. Goodbye, halcyon days... There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

I knew several people that basically lived for free for a year before being evicted, that's just not fair. That being said, no WAY should institutional buyers (ie. Blackrock and Vanguard), should get first dibs on any houses. In fact, I think these institutional buyers should be banned from buying property. |

[link to www.housingwire.com (secure)] The Federal Housing Administration said that nonprofit organizations and owner-occupant buyers will have first dibs on foreclosed properties that get auctioned off through its Claims Without Conveyance of Title (CWCOT) program, specifically prioritizing these groups over investors. For the first 30 days, a foreclosed property listed for sale can only be bid on by owner-occupant buyers, approved nonprofits, and government entities, the FHA announced last week. The administration added that these buyers would also enjoy an additional 60 days for conveyance from the date that the sales contract is ratified. The FHA noted last Thursday that these changes — first announced by the Biden-Harris administration last year — will increase the supply of single-family homes available to families. Typically, FHA-insured foreclosed properties are snatched up by large investors and turned into rental properties. |

Hmm... maybe they're trying to rope all these poor people into over priced houses, debt up to their ears, because Blackrock and Vanguard bid up the pricing.... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76316793 United States 06/06/2022 08:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | lets just say I have an Uncle that is an appraiser who just did the first appraisal for the new string of federal foreclosures since CØVID. The scamdemic not only forced people to stay home but legislation was created to keep landlords from evicting; they were given the option to push back payments at an immensely inflated intrest rate so most of the landlords stuck it out in hopes things would change; thus causing a MASSIVE AMOUNT of government issued forclosures. Quoting: StopTheOP This is where things get bad. the federal institution in charge of ALL GOVERNMENT HOUSING LOANS ("HUD"Housing & Urban Development) changed the federal foreclosure laws (CWCOT on the HUD website) which in turn: -Changed entire foreclosure the process from 6monthes to 45days. -allows the mortgagee to sell foreclosed loans directly to institutional investors like BLACKROCK/VANGUARD without going on the market first. the process wasnt supposed to start until next year but it has just begun. If the full loan transfer takes 45 days people will have much less time to vacate. In the 2008 market crash people were living in their houses for YEARS before they were evicted; all at different times. THIS PROCESS WILL BE MUCH FASTER. People will be on the streets all at the same time forced to rent from the same people who bought their loans but at twice the rent. This is the first time wallstreet investors are buying houses to rent out. They want us owning nothing. There are literally 15-20 cars at a local library parking lot every night. Things will be pure misery in a few months |

Potential buyers are not privy to information about the condition of these properties prior to purchase. The administration said that the properties are sold in an “as is” condition and may include defects, possible health or safety hazards, or debris, or be located in a flood hazard area. |
