I'm just glad GLP (Greek Lexicon Parsing) is a Greek Bible study forum.

For example, I was contemplating that the family name Cass comes from the Greek kekasmai meaning to "excel", to "surpass".

I thought of Proverbs 31.

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest (kekasmai, Cass) them all.
