Agreed. I've said many times, that the USMS is the last credible Federal Law Enforcement Agency (though there have been a couple troubling things). The Marshals can handle all of it, if the government would simply not involve itself in things that aren't its business. Basically, follow the Constitution.

As for reapplying...If there was a completely transparent system, with a single act of defiance against the Constitution meaning no Federal LEO job ever again. Hopefully, most states will make laws supporting those disqualifications.
