I wouldn't necessarily blame the Russians if they did it either since they called the west's collective military bluff and it's blatantly obvious that many of the countries who pledged weapons in the first days and weeks of the war can't even physically supply what they've already promised much less anything else above and beyond that.

The united states of America has transferred 1/3 or more of it's total worldwide stockpile of several types of weapons and equipment up to and including shit as basic as howitzers and howitzer ammunition to say nothing of the specialist digital gear for them that usually make ours perform better.

Not only is the western first world pretty much out of physical shit to send but the US and European nations are in such bad shape that there's been no substantial increases in weapons production in any of these countries either even though we're 100+ days into this war because it turns out WE CAN'T EVEN PRODUCE WHAT WE WERE ALREADY SUPPOSED TO BE PRODUCING THIS YEAR IF THERE HAD BEEN NO WAR!

Russia has exposed the entire western first world for something much worse than a paper tiger... We are has beens who can't even marshal 1% of what we should be able to if the capabilities we say we have on paper actually existed!

We've been badly outmaneuvered folks and things only get worse from here.
