Public school teacher here (middle grades 6 through 9)

Mask mandates lifted mid-March

No mandatory "vaxx" but a lot of colleagues and quite a few students got it

Had it myself, not "vaxxed", mild case

Covid levels have been low for months, most everyone susceptible got it this winter or spring

We don't test or contact trace anymore at all

No deaths, one colleague hospitalized in Feb/March for pneumonia post-covid

Things are mostly normal now and not seeing any increased illness

I follow Vanden Bosche and respect his work. Not seeing any variants of concern and hope it remains so, but his last interview was quite detailed

Not worried for those of us with intact immunity

It would only be for the vaxxed.


Unvaxxed don't have a hyper specific defense that a mutation could overcome en mass.

Trying to understand this so i can explain it better.

This mass vaxx is not different compared to giving the whole world bad antibiotics right?

Viruses and bacteria mutate and the ones that overcome immune pressure become dominant??

People know using to much antibiotics the wrong way is BAAAD i mean.
