Quoting: mondali2 fill a bathtub north of the equator and pull the plug which way does the water spin when you pull the plug. Do the same south of the equator, what happens. the water spins in the opposite direction. any where north of the equator it spins one way and anywhere south of the equator it spins the other way. This is not possible on a flat earth model, it only is possible if the earth is a sphere. the same holds true for storms, ie hurricanes and tornadoes. any one have an answer to this question on a flat earth model I'll wait. with a swish of my foot in the shower tray, i can make the water go clockwise or anti clockwise. every bath tub and sink is set slightly differently , even a full bath, motionless and flat will drain out as it is set to. some clockwise , some anti. have you not seen the con trick that guys do on the equator where they have a sink on a stand and a bucket and drain it one way and then step over the equator line , 2 paces away and it goes the other way. its a trick to make money. Its not a proof of northern and southern hemisphere. the fact that water is always flat when in its natural resting state, there is proof of of a different sort, there is no gravity induced bendy water. find another story to sell you hello centric snake oil..... There has been the appearance of both counterclockwise and clockwise rotating tornadoes under the same thunderstorm. These deviations undercut the common misperception that the direction of a tornadoes' spin results from the Coriolis force. so there you have your answers OP Simonleluk |
