All the major oil companies are raising prices based on supply chain problems and the war in ukraine while posting record profits.

That should tell you everything man.

Crime will spike even more so. Grocery stores will have to put armed security in the parking lots to prevent the robbery/murder of those those that can afford food by those that can't.

You can expect the same for food companies like Nestle etc...

They practically doubled the price of their frozen meals overnight.

They really are NOT kidding around when they say you'll own nothing in the very near future.

That's your perspective, which is valid, but doesn't account for the large sector of society who were already poor with no hope of ever gaining financial success prior to the current situation. You can't really have less when you don't have anything.

From my perspective the middle class has been dwindling since the 1960s, with all the warning signs present along the path to non-existence.

Ironically the lower class are probably better equipped mentally to handle a financial crisis than the rest.

I shop for a friend that cannot drive.. and the frozen dinners by Smart Ones (don't know if they are Nestle or not) from Walmarts... since December have gone from about 1.50 t 2.19...


4 can pack of chicken for her has gone up just recently to $10 from $8. I don't buy my Food for Life bread anymore.. gone from under $4 to $6.18. doing homemade today. Yet a pound of fresh mushrooms has stayed so far the same price for 2 years. $4.
