So gravity affects EMF signals and makes them curve around the earth?
Super "smart" physicists have said that the earths gravity makes light waves bend around its cuve.

Also short wave radio can be picked up on the other side of the planet.

So if gravity pulls EMF radiation too, then how are they able to send signals deep into space?

Is gravity magical and it knows when they want to send signals into space rather than the other side of the planet?

Or maybe the earth is flat and gravity is a lie and we are actually attracted to the ground because of density and electrostatic attraction.

Thanks one star bandit who left without saying anything.

But am I surprised? No.

Don't worry, the angry and dumb shills who juan starred the thread but couldn't muster up a comment are quadruple vaxxed and will be getting their monkey pox vaxx soon too. They love big daddy government because they know it loves them sooo much and would never lie to them.

certain frequencies can be bounced off of the inside of our magnetosphere to the other side of our globular planet. Other frequencies pass right through our magnetosphere. I juan starred you and stayed and gave you THE explanation to your question. BTW 40 year radio operator and builder.

You need something with the gravitational pull to have a noticeable effect on light. The effect of Earth's gravity on light is laughably negligible.

Actually lower frequencies have better penetration and longer range which is why they can be picked up on the other side of the planet.

I'm aware. But that isn't the Earth's gravity having the effect on light. It's the Earth's gravity affecting the atmosphere which affects light.

What was asked was in regards to gravity directly affecting light.

it needs some corrections..... *very strong gravity* and when waves pass *very near* to the gravity center

ofcourse even a planet like earth may can affect and turn very near emf waves, some 1/50,000 of a mm lets say, but all these cant stop transmitions to a point in space, just to turn them a little

but when you see the target of your transmition (a star or a galaxy) and his light to you is turned, then also your transmition will take the same path back to the coming light, so you dont lose your target

simple as that

news flash. gravity does not exist by itself. There is ALWAYS mass in the presence of gravity. So it is always gravity and something else whether atmosphere or otherwise.

I know this thught may be a bit painful for you, OP, but how about you... you know... RESEARCH?

In your case I'd start with "Maximum Usable Frequency" and go from there.

I love how GLP Geniuses believe they're breaking new ground with these cute little questions.

The ionosphere is at around 400kV, depending on what the sun is doing. Ion/Plasma electromagnetic mirror;.
The Earth is a conductive sphere, a metal ball electrically, also a mirror.
Between these two mirrors is called a waveguide.

"Light" is a moving magnetic field by definition. A moving, moving charge. Acceleration of charge. Gravity does not noticably effect light until gravity is strong enough to displace volume, shrink space.
