I think you've mistaken D & R's

You're absolutely correct that both sides are to blame. But even the R's are leaning left these days.

Extremes on both sides are wrong. That said, the government in general has been at war with anything that doesn't reflect their message. This message has largely been from the left! The left is trying to pervert any sense of societal norms which does nothing but foster division and distrust.

This is not even questionable at this point, and if you say otherwise it just proves you're either a lefty, or a government shill.
