Adam was created from the dust of the earth. God breathed life into Adam. Adam and Eve was created in Gods image but that image was broken after they broke 1 law. Compare to how Christ breathed on his diciples and told them to recieve the Holy spirit in John 20:22. That was God restoring the relationship between God and man that was broken. James 2:10 also said if you fail to keep 1 law, you have broken them all (pointing to Adam and Eve, and our seperation from God by our own efforts) so salvation is a gift and rests on the merits of God, not ourselves.

Fun fact: In the targum, you see God walking with Adam and Eve in the garden is actually the WORD. Christ.
