Don't shop at the Home Depot
Ted Decker, Ceo
Today I stopped by our local Home Depot in Hamilton, OH. We picked up what we needed and proceeded to check out. I showed my MILITARY I.D. to the cashier so she could apply the 10% military discount to our purchase. The cashier said to me, "oh sorry, we do not accept MILITARY ID's anymore, you will have to go online and register for a code in order to get your discount." I called the store manager, "that is not right, I know you don't make the rules but that is so wrong."
It is my understanding, "Mr. Decker", you are the one responsible for implementing this program. I have no idea why you would implement such a program. Maybe to Ted Decker, Ceo

It is my understanding, "Mr. Decker", you are the one responsible for implementing this program. I have no idea why you would implement such a program. Maybe to streamline the check-out process to make it faster? Well, I personally do not care about the reason. Let me enlighten you on what your new program has done. First off, I spent 20 years in the Army doing a job that only a small fraction of Americans is willing to do. I chose to serve our great COUNTRY and he and others like me deserve to be recognized for their service! When a MILITARY ID is presented to obtain a discount from a business, it gives the employee the opportunity to thank that person for their service. With your new program they can no longer show their Military ID to obtain your discount of 10%. They are now required to SIGN UP for a QR CODE in order to get the discount applied to purchases. By the way, the discount does not apply to items on sale or lumber. Oh! and let's not forget the max discount you can get each year is $400.00. I am not the only person that feels your program is extremely disrespectful to our military men and women! Military personnel deserve to be HONORED in every way possible. You can keep your 10% discount. I will not be exchanging my devotion for mine and your freedom for a QR CODE, SIR!
Thank you.

Why do you think youre special because you willingly helped enforced the globalists agenda for 20 years? What did your military servitude actually do for regular hard working americans? Ill answer for you, it did nothing for us. You drones dont deserve praise let alone discounts. Military people are welfare queens.

Sounds like a great way to help the federal data base. You sign up and the government has your latest address and information. Easier to round us veterans up when the final push happens. Wouldn’t want another January 6 would we?

Imagine being in the military and still not able to even communicate whatsoever in a clear fashion.

I’d have eaten my service weapon.

You would have willingly went to war with the American people and killed your American brothers and sisters if ordered to, just so you could have your pension and military discount. Fuck off

They should remove the military discount so the rest of us don't have to pay for it.

Re: Don't shop at the Home Depot
Your the same kind of vet that stands outside of Golden Corral to get your free slab of meat and potatoes on Veterans Day. Or you were on some airbase in Iraq that was mortared so now you have a big old "Combat Veteran," sticker on your car. Guess what. The military isn't that cool anymore. Killing people with drone from 15 miles away and destroying sovereign nations is getting old. If you can't afford something without demanding your 10% discount then you are a loser.

Re: Don't shop at the Home Depot
Maybe they had a lot of people abusing the system?

So you got to jump through an additional hoop for your 10% discount.

To be honest, I'm surprised they offer such a generous discount.
