It's a sad story about regret over having an abortion and an implication that he might have tried to have her killed.

She was 16, he was 25

He became her legal guardian while they dated for a couple years

They fell in love, he asked her to have a family with him and marry him, she said yes

He took her to meet his family, they were concerned about her age and the grandmother wouldn't allow Steven to give her the family heirloom ring

Things fell apart after that

She was five months pregnant, Steven went on tour, kept her in an apartment, checked on her

Sent his friend over to help her with groceries one day and she says she doesn't remember anything but blacking out and waking up in a fire with lots of smoke, the doors were locked

Firefighters rescued her, she was in the hospital

Steven went to the hospital and told her to have an abortion

It was a gross, late term aborition, the baby was born alive and they killed it

They continued to date but it was never the same and things fell apart and they never got married.
