That's why he's been prolific in his fame. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80525691 Sucks how all our heroes are ghosts. Heroes? You have a strange sense of what a hero is. It's a Pink Floyd lyric. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80477276 United States 06/12/2022 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just over 3:00 into this video, I bailed out. I'm not listening to some rock groupie's sob story. You know a synopsis of the video would have been nice. Quoting: HellsTruant It's a sad story about regret over having an abortion and an implication that he might have tried to have her killed. She was 16, he was 25 He became her legal guardian while they dated for a couple years They fell in love, he asked her to have a family with him and marry him, she said yes He took her to meet his family, they were concerned about her age and the grandmother wouldn't allow Steven to give her the family heirloom ring Things fell apart after that She was five months pregnant, Steven went on tour, kept her in an apartment, checked on her Sent his friend over to help her with groceries one day and she says she doesn't remember anything but blacking out and waking up in a fire with lots of smoke, the doors were locked Firefighters rescued her, she was in the hospital Steven went to the hospital and told her to have an abortion It was a gross, late term aborition, the baby was born alive and they killed it They continued to date but it was never the same and things fell apart and they never got married. continued to date after all that? sigh. women. how many red flags do you need? unbelievable. yeah sounds like he is a piece of shi* alright. Kind of amazed that Live Tyler seems like she might be the one good thing he did add to the world? |

Had all the elements in this video but included a few other pieces of information. She was a very troubled girl and in a dysfunctional family, had gotten into drugs and drinking before she met Steven, who was also a troubled druggie/alcoholic though older. 16 and 25 is inappropriate but that age difference doesn't bother me that much. She wanted out of her family life and she wanted to go with Steven, so he did the guardianship thing so they could cross state lines while travelling. Her sister had already run away with a boyfriend at age 16. Turns out she was drugging and drinking throughout the pregnancy and admits that's part of the reason Steven thought it would be best to have an abortion (not saying I agree, but that was the case). She is very sketchy on the whole fire event. And as far as the doors being locked, she admitted that Steven required the extensive locking all the time because he kept drugs in the house. She seems to imply that Tabano had something to do with the fire, but only because he wasn't there when she woke up. Was she drinking and drugging with him? Did she pass out with a lit cigarette, or some other problem? Did Tabano upset her by telling her that Steven didn't want the baby and she should have an abortion (because that's how he felt), and then she did something dramatic and dysfunctional under the influence, lilke decide to burn his house down or kill herself and the baby? Who knows. She doesn't remember a thing. She was 17 when she made the decision to abort. She admits that Steven relented and said she could go back home to her mother's house and have the baby there. She didn't want to, she wanted to keep Steven in her life. So, there are two sides to every story and she really does paint herself in a positive light in this video. It's not for me to judge the trials that a young, troubled woman went through or the decisions she made. Or Steven's actions, for that matter. Two fucked up people living life. She's married and has seven kids now. Last Edited by Emerald Sky on 06/12/2022 11:02 PM Unjabbed - Take Dayquil or Nyquil if you get the flu |

User ID: 77831500 Sweden 06/13/2022 03:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It actually sounds like Steven's biggest issue was being a weak-willed drug addict who balked from marrying the girl he loved when when his family didn't support it. He doesn't strike me as evil from this story, just weak and still emotionally dependent on his parents. It seems clear he wanted the child and to build a family with this girl, but his parents didn't approve of their union, so he folded and persuaded her to abort it. The fire incidence does seem suspect, but there's a high likelihood these druggies set it off by accident. Lazy Monk |

I just tried listening to the song, to see if I could hear in there what she's talking about, and I shut it down halfway through....I'm not normally like this, letting a performers bad behavior get in the way of listening to a song I really enjoy, but I don't think I'm going to be able to listen to the song again. Or at least not for long space of time....he fucking tried to have her killed! Gawd, I just had one of those knowings come to me that turn my stomach, but I think he was ordered to have the baby killed one way or the other, as a show of his "service to his masters." It was ugh, a sacrifice. Heh, I've never thought highly of Steven Tyler - now I know why - or the band, despite they make good music....at least now they do. I saw them live mid-70's, and it was the very worst concert I've ever been to. They were so fucked up they weren't playing the songs right, and Tyler was just awful, he sounded like a broke dog, not that I've ever at all been impressed with his voice. Not at all. Heh, they just ended up walking off the stage because the BOOs were so loud, they were just that bad. Ugh, ugh, ugh....lawdy, I do not like it when that happens, when I find out something disgusting. I still feel like my cookies are in a blender in my tummy, making way to bust a move out and about.... You never change things by fighting the existing reality. Anonymous Coward User ID: 82490731 United States 07/06/2022 05:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "He WASN'T a good guy" is how it should read. Or perhaps even better: "More Horrors of the Abortion Industry Revealed". Tyler has had an ongoing battle with addictions his whole life. This incident happened a very, very long time ago, when he was quite young. This DOES NOT excuse his behavior. Or, I should say, the behavior which he is accused of. I noticed that in her accounting of the events, this woman uses trigger words to intentionally upset the listener. Example: I was STABBED in the stomach. No. Actually, they gave her an injection. They didn't STAB her. She would have had the same if she had undergone and amniocentesis. She also insinuates that he is somehow responsible for the fire she was in. She leads the listener to believe or at least suspect that Tyler sent his man to cause her to become unconscious (note she mentions no blow to the head nor does she mention being given anything to eat or drink). I think if it was deliberate arson, there would have at least been a great scandal and investigation and possibly a conviction. Point: Tyler has admitted openly that he has been a HORRIBLE person, that he did terrible things, and even has publicly confessed the abortion she refers to, and he has expressed deep regret and remorse over both the abortion and the things he did in the past. A person's terrible past does not make them a terrible person today. Particularly when they repent of it. Questions: -Where the hell were this girls parents??? -If this woman has a story to tell about her own abortion and her intent (I would assume) is to help other women not to make the same decision, and to shine a light on how traumatic it is, is there a reason to name names? How does that add to the horror of abortion. It doesn't. It simply adds a sensationalistic aspect to her story. That is not "ministry". In ministry you may chose to reveal your own sin, but not name names and reveal the sin of someone else. -She paints herself as just so in love and that this is the reason she was with him. She never mentions liking the rock n roll lifestyle, the money, the fame. But you KNOW that was a part of this. She was a groupie. That's what she wanted and hoped for. To snag a rock star. And she did. She needed to include the allure of the lifestyle if she was being truly transparent in her story. -And finally, the most important thing. She's not taking responsibility for her own actions and her own wrong doing. No one forced her to have sex with him. She never mentions rape. She continued to have sex with him after he tossed the birth control pills. She could have gotten more, she could have said no, she could have left him. But she decided to get pregnant, unmarried. He gave her a choice with the abortion: The baby or me. She chose him (and I assume the lifestyle). She could have chosen the baby. Yes, she would have lost him. But she would have had her baby. No one strapped her to a gurney and forced her to have the abortion. As much as she says she didn't want to, she made her choice and allowed it to happen. She went along with it. She needs to face up to the consequences of her own decision instead of pointing her finger at someone else, because in the end, she made the final decision. Own up to it sista. |
