First hand COVID experience as a non vaxxed.

My wife is a nurse she had to be vaxxed or lose her job I warned her of possible side effects in the end she got the shot. First and second. But no boosters. Roommate is a nurse she got the vax just first shot not second or any after. Recently roomate was sick her office had her take a test came back positive for covid. Seemed like a mild cold to me symptom wise from my non medical school mind.

What I observed was roommate having a 3 to 4 day basic cold. Neither me nor wife got sick at all. I waited long enough after make sure we clear.

So without making any assumptions. COVID is not very contagious (I talked to sick roommate face to face no mask under 6ft apart.) I'm not sick.

Wife's immune system didn't seem more susceptible to the cold I mean COVID. As we are both fine. I'm doing great notice zero signs of the media touted long COVID as me and wife both tested positive over a year ago.

Wife's memory forgetfulness and fatigue is much higher then before shot. Observational only could be because more stress at work or any other thing.

Have noticed a lot of 60+ population in my known circle. Friends family and their relatives. Are passing away. Once a month vs once a year in my circle. Only 1 from COVID. Rest all something else mostly heart issues.

My father avid hunter and pickle ball player voted mostly likely to live longest out of his friends got the vax first and second shot. He needed emergency quadruple bypass surgery couple months after vaxx.

Wife does yearly blood work since her surgery years ago. Every test every year came back normal until she got first shot. First blood work back since shot showed abnormalities.
