That is like dry water. You cannot be both at the same time. A democracy is the rule of the majority where the majority can do whatever they want. A republic is a non-monarchial system where the Rule of Law is King...such as with our Constitution. |

The evil decisions that destroyed the republic were Baker v Carr and Reynolds v Simms. |

Many people are incredibly wicked or incredibly stupid; and thus giving them an "equal say"; i.e. a "vote" is absurd and self destructive. You are better off with an Absolute Monarchy; a Philosopher King or Queen of the Highest Integrity and Wisdom. I would ask you to consider all the politicians accused of gross impropriety; or outright criminal conduct; and this accounts not for all that have successfully veiled their misdeeds. Or simply look at the heinous wars or hideous evils policies advanced by these politicians; and you can see that evil has made its way into the halls of government through the wicked machinations of the perceived benevolent "democracy". |
