Exactly! It is not enough to just repent and amend. The next step is to walk the walk. Live the example and others will be inspired and start listening to that true inner self (God) and in turn be examples themselves.
And we have to remember that there is no one path. Everyone has a different set of circumstances and therefore a different path they walk.
And the western cultures have lost that mentality that even the homeless guy on the street begging for alms is God speaking to you and giving you a chance to be the example to others. Words are easy to speak but actions send waves through the world.

I withhold acceptance of either but I think evolution is more correct than not. Although just has many of Darwin's claims have been rejected as new facts have come about, his basic theory is most likely correct. No we didn't evolve from monkeys. Humans and apes have a common ancestor.

The heart is a muscle and has no eyes. Why is it so hard to say brain,thoughts,emotion? We have claims god did this or that. Even more striking is every religions god(s) answer their prayers. Have the shaman pray for rain and Shazam it rains! Jehovah maybe your favorite however every culture has theirs and attribute many of the same powers. So what? Other than the interesting reasons why gods are invented or promoted or my god is the real God mentality, no god has ever been proven. In fact most have been debunked. They do but with differences. Taller'shorter'hair or eye color. Plus interracial mating. As various types mate, different people are produced. In a few Thousand years we'll see a human that maybe different but many of the same traits. Like apes and humans.

This is relevant to the evolution of cognition...that process of awareness which knows itself inspires us to aks the question.

I think bigfoot is our logical evolution. They mediate consciousness among dimensional fluctuations. Lights coincident, fuzzy outlines, impossible distances traversed. They bend time and space to jump between realities. They don't bother with tech as a teaching tool to witness the exteriorization of consciousness, nothing so outre.

Who needs clothes and factories? Shoes? When a cave will do. Their experience is direct and visceral, directly corresponding exactly to the observed world, as seen by their inner nature. They project reality by a stupendous manoeuvre of perception.

13 Make your relationship with Jehovah your priority. (Deut. 6:5, 6) Like most mothers, you make many sacrifices. You give up time, money, sleep, and other things to care for your children’s physical needs. But you should never be so busy caring for those needs that you sacrifice your relationship with Jehovah. Regularly set aside time for private prayer, personal study of the Bible, and congregation meetings. By doing so, you will strengthen yourself spiritually and set a good example for your family as well as for others.
