My wife gets tons of catalogs from those exercise clothes companies and they all have fat models now wearing running clothes and yoga clothes. Makes no sense.

2) I"m not a dude. And as a shapely woman, I can't understand another woman not taking care of herself and being comfortable in her fat rolls. My gosh, when I put on even 5 lbs, I can't stand it, I have to get rid of it. After one Xmas, I put on 10 lbs, my fat literally hurt me.

I had a guy roommate who said that Rachael Rae wasn't fat, she was "thick". Um, no! She's an obese cow! Like I said, I'm trying to get rid of my triple D's but no matter how skinny I get, they won't budge, I don't know why! So I look at obese women, and that's like having breast fat all over your back, your knees, your thighs, your stomach, your sides, UGH! Disgusts me! I'd rather look like a toothpick, that's what designers design clothes for.

That wasn't my question and I'm a lot older and losing weight is easy!

My question was: WHY don't they look sad and constantly look down at their fat rolls with a pained expression?

The reasoning is easily understood. Food is delicious, work is difficult, and modern life kinda sucks.

My guess is that they simply have given up or don't care about their body shape anymore, same with the guys though. It's such a turn off.

they know which direction the world is headed... over 50% of Americans will be obese by 2030.. it was 2040 but covid kind of expedited that.. that is not over weight, thats obese.. over weight will now be the new normal.. only 20% of the population will be considered normal weight.

We are in a culture that wants everything delivered via amazon, even our groceries the last bit of walking is being eliminated.. most of our work is now remote, our food comes remote..

Just wait till they invent a machine that cooks for you and spoon feeds you while we are all watching netflix or worst, wearing those monstrous VR goggles.. machines will be cooking and feeding us, while we live in an artificial world thinking we are super fit and enjoying and pining for amazing beach vacations all while sitting our obese asses in a chair being fed a bucket full of soda and ice cream.

Overweight being the new normal...oh my god. If you're a woman and 110, 120, 130 people will think you are TOO skinny, same with men that are 160, 170, 180...these are healthy people, but won't be the norm. Bad storms ahead, you'll need more than an umbrella my friend.

Acceptance. It's that simple. Mindset. Attitude.

I'm not saying I would want to date an obese woman but more power to them. I'm in the best shape of my life at 40... nearly showing a 6 pack, but it's not easy to reduce calories to lose bodyfat when comfort eating has become a habit.

If they are happy with who they are, more power to them. Ultimately all of life comes down to mindset.

Part of me wonders if I didn't gain weight because when I was young I made fun of a fat girl I knew. Like maybe the karmic price of being mean to fat people is to gain 10lbs for each person you do it too...and that's why everyone is fat.
