I try real fucking hard to steer clear of buying anything at box stores so I don't notice.

Yeah I noticed them at my local acme. Never were there before. They hang out right near the registers with their arms crossed, talking loud, like that’s gonna do anything. It’s more of s visual threat/deterrent. They put them there right at 5pm busy time. I still managed to get an entire bottle of extra virgin olive oil and $10 worth of deli Turkey into my purse. The trick is to go down the cereal aisle. Never many cameras on the cereal because where is it gonna fit? If it’s Walmart. Pet food aisle and home and garden is notoriously un-monitored.
The thing is, those places don’t have the budget to hire multiple eyes to watch those cameras. If you’re lucky, they’ll have ONE set of eyes watching and probably they are multitasking and forced to do other shit. Go somewhere urban and go at a very busy time when the focus won’t be on you. Early in the morning, like 7am, is good, too.

Odd. You'll usually find them hanging around the donut shops here.

The Walmart I choose not to go to but is the only store nearby without driving 6 miles. Well, it is a Star Wars bar scene in that store. I hate going there but with the Brandon's cost of gas, it well, sucks.

I noticed 2 undercover security dressed all skeevo like many of the shoppers there. Everyone was just ugly. Sad, that I had come to that conclusion. Saw a heavy set woman wearing Daisy Dukes just like those photos you have all seen. And many more of what you would expect from the memes.

EBT carts filled to the rim. 5 or six overweight people beeping their "I'm fat so feel sorry for" mopeds around. And who knows maybe someone saw me and was thinking the same thing. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I can. I usually enter and leave through gardening which seems a bit more "normal".

Here in East Tennessee, there's always been off duty copes in some of our grocery stores. Some have them, some don't. I imagine it's the stores that are hiring them.

All the Food City's here have off duty cops as security. I've never noticed if Ingles does. As for the Walmart's. I believe they employ their own security. Plus, the cops are there so often, probably doesn't really matter.

Maybe it's happening more. But this is nothing new. Did you recently move or something?

Our walmart here around Detroit lost 2 million in 1 month from Obamas Brothers stealing 75 inch tvs. They have NO SECURITY as the security people quit because they could do nothing to stop theft.

I know the door greeter and he told me, he asked a BROTHER to show him the receipt for a 70 inch TV, the Brother pulled out a slip of paper and stepped back 5 feet and held the receipt high over his head "SEE MY RECEIPT"; he got the tv.

Walmart went FULL WOKE TARD and actually let the FOLKS steal. They disabled all theft deterrent devices in the store; now they are hurting and DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE. Big Clamp Down, and checking bags.

They have to do something to protect themselves and their business. Can't blame them at all.

Actually you’re not complying with the order of things is going to rush in the system of AI much much quicker you will be one of the first people to be upset they are tracking your every item because they brought in AI to watch you and it will cost a lot more also. I’ll stick with humanity for now… I’m not ready for all the robots that you’re trying to Rush in… it’s gonna be horrible! It’s gonna be a robot cars already happening because people can’t drive right and follow the rules of the road. People can’t do anything with any order anymore. We will have robot police! We will have robot cashiers! We will have robot security guards! And it will cost you a lot of money they’ve been talking about it and holding it off for years because they don’t wanna spend the money. I think with inflation They will need to do something to keep things under control the average citizen steals a few items all the time through self check out, just by mistakes alone let alone those with ill intent…these businesses are losing a lot of money at some point it will become cost-effective to higher the robots. Are we not still a civilized society? I ask this question more and more because it doesn’t seem like anyone is civilized anymore
