How Bout a 3 Day Ban on AC's

since your mods are supposedly volunteer, why don't you replace the vinidictive, petulant ones who are costing you memberships? i'm speaking specifically about one who looks like a dog and supposedly works at a government space agency.

Most all of us would love to take up a donation fund to pay trin to ban All Is One Is All, mother naggie, Candace. You would not be worth as much.

When I first saw this thread title, I thought, again? Yeesh. Then I thought, what if we have a 3 day ban on Blue Names? What if Anonymous Cowards were in charge of GLP for a weekend? What havoc would ensue? What would be the pinned topics of discussion?

You'd think if they can do a 'CAPTCHA' to find out if you are a robot, then they can surely make a 'CAPTCHA' to weed out the morans!

Three days to flatten the truth.

well, I've been here, almost on a daily basis for twenty years - I consider GLP valuable ... it's my newspaper on the world ... I was still working and would get up early just so I could log in ... lurked mostly, was an AC until it got impossible to be an AC -

but it wasn't until recently when I felt I had to ban the ACs ... if and when they make any kind of contribution to the discussion, someone quotes them - so I don't feel like I am missing anything but pages full of distractions from the topic ... squeeky wheels

to me, GLP is the pulse of the world ... like the Princeton experiment ,... the front page says it all - and it has been pretty dark for the past two years - understandably dark ... and IMO this post reveals why - there are more ACs than there are Members and except for the few members who ban members from posting on their topics - I appreciate the discussions ... and rarely click into AC post because they treat GLP like "dear Abby" - I remember GLP used to have a great sense of humor ... it was "IN-lightening" and always up-lifting --- not so much anymore ... everyone seems to be pushing an agenda that demands you take "sides" - which feels like data mining - but if that were true, Trin would be a billionaire by now HA

Trin has grown a lot - so have we all ... I've probably moved five times across the US in the past 20 years - I'm retired now, and lived in the same place for the past 11 years and it is better than Heaven to me --- covid never came here, no one wore masks - no one died - but then the ACs started moving in with their fears and their self-created dramas ... and lack of respect ... I lock my gate now - glp, like I said, is a reflection of the collective reality - and the ACs are everywhere now spreading their hate and perversion so I don't let them in because they don't Appreciate anything - not even free membership -

However...I don't see why anyone would want to ban it. It is an interesting idea...and none of us REALLY know the truth about what is going on here. I welcome all ideas.

That's literally the entire point of a place like this. I don't come to GLP to have an echo chamber, I come here to challenge my own beliefs and strengthen my views. The only benefit to an echo chamber is for those who are too insecure to handle open debate.

I'm quite surprised actually at how much GLP has been swamped with people who would happily shut down any contrary thought. We have the entire rest of the MSM and the government for that.

It is not an interesting idea and was put to rest a long time ago. I do really know the earth is not flat.
