Yes and no. I would organize militia like we are supposed to do. I wouldn't be a suicide bomber. Us southerners (i hope) would band together and restore whatever you are referring to should it happen.

If I was being occupied by a foreign country I would be an insurgent. If my country became a police state I would move to Canada.

No modern day American would stand up against any form of govt. The fear of going to jail/prison keeps us in line.

Our forefathers were real badasses who rebelled and fought against tyranny and a government that failed them. Now, we only care about making our SUV payment and when the next football game or fave tv show will be on. This is what will allow China or some other sleeping giant to eventually take over.
