I don't mind their having a holiday to celebrate freedom from slavery. Everyone else gets it off too, so it's not a special racial handout. I'm Irish, and maybe some of my ancestors were enslaved, although I have not heard anything like that.

But mangling the English language like that is annoying. I'm too good for that. It's a lowering of standards, something the English teacher profession has been pushing for about 50 years. I like "whiteness". It's a better culture than the unfortunate black culture, which is largely about dysfunction.
