Community donations for Spectrum has been great. A 50 ft tower and omni antenna gets 5 mile coverage qith the 20 watt booster transmitter and receiver preamp. Paid for all that shit and 300 donors are getting internet service for two dollars a month.

I must have recieved 50 spectrum mailers for the mi latina plan whch is just regular service marketing to immigrants

Their tv commercial had mi latina plan with dancing immigrants holding their home country flags with USA flag in background

They do also overcharge and have lower service ratings then time Warner which is kind of insane

The no other providers issue is the ironic curse of the urban / suburban areas.

Now if you get out to the rural regions, where there was no options at all for high speed internet until ~2007ish, you'll find yourself overcome with affordable options. The gear to do wireless line of sight stuff got really cheap around then, and a ton of local companies popped up to get repeaters on every silo that could service a dozen houses.

So nowadays the internet is as fast as the urbanite's and generally cheaper.

If had an antenna for twenty years now. Have seen broadcast tv in months. What is to watch? It's all compromised.
