These days, the heat is tougher on me. The sun is brutal. My 90 year old neighbor works in her flower beds everyday!

People can't afford to run air conditioning properly as electric costs havebeen allowed to increase 225%.

Every quarter the energy company file with State Corporation Commision for permission to increase & it is always rubber stamp approved. That & the June 1 to Dec annual allowed Summer heat season increase period allowed on top of this.

Egen severe home electric use conservation measures like turning off breaker on hot water heater, being mostly in dark at night, using light from street lights, conserving extremely on cooking energy id's, using power strips to fully turn off microwave (not even allow the clock) & TV stereo etc energy vampires when not in use & unpluggi g & no longer using alarm clocks (just using watches & phones), rewaering dirty clothes & only running laundry at max full capacity the electric billss are not affordable. If you late paying in full they demand new additional $100s of $ additional deposits to maintain service.

People are unable to pay rent, mortgages due to insane increased all type utilities. There are no safety nets. If the electric is shut off only way to get it back on is full payment of all past due AND new additional several $100s deposit, or they switch you to prepaid electric accts that have 20% of each amout put on acct go towards past due balance. Many people in know are now trapped like this. Charities do not help pay on those prepaid accts.

People don't have enough gas to get to & from work. MANY parts of USA don't have public transportation.

Meanwhile consistent drastic price increases inflation on rents, fuel, water, electric, gas, food, hygeine products, household goods, medicines RX & OTC, repairs,

All while decrease in peoples health problems, increase in medical crisis, disabilities, new diagnosis

Yet USA health system already crashed. Can take over 9 months for new patient appt with urgently needed specialists (even those with kidney disease that need to get into Nephrology or those waiting for dialysis. Insurance companies demand certain laborious processes that can't be accommodated by the crashed US healthcare system), & even MANY MANY months wait to get into even Cancer Treatment centers. Long wait time for imaging, diagnostic testing even biopsies as not enough professionals, techs etc

Not sure why I’m still in Texas, I hate the heat. But my hubby’s relatives in West by God Virginia are suffering hot conditions as well.

We usually scoot up to Northern New Mexico about July or so, but that place is currently on fire, so, there’s that.

I am 70 and hate the heat.

Why, oh why do old people retire to Florida? It seems to be the most uncomfortable place there is. Don’t they like to breathe? You can’t do that in high humidity.

I tried out a spa once and about passed out from humidity. Same with a steam shower, can’t do that!

Sorry but this has ALWAYS been true prior to the jabs. It's just science. If it's too humid, your sweat simply can't evaporate because the concentration in the air is too high.

The evaporation is what cools you off. Without it, you will die and you'll die relatively quickly too.

The best job you can possibly land if you are in a hot country, is working stocking the large supermarket walk in freezers..

You get cryo therapy multiple times daily, which is fantastic for your body, immune system, anti aging etc. And if its a hot day, then its a huge bonus.

When I was in Oman it was 145 at pure wether station in the sun.

Old men and women wearing black head to toe probably 70+ years old no problem. Not even sweating.
