Near the end of the video he sums it and says we need to quit demonizing oil. He says oil is the life blood of the country and that electricity as the main source of energy is just not where it needs to be yet

Someone forgot to tell him that electricity is produced from burning fossil fuels. If we all had electric cars that would mean a whole lot more electricity production using fossil fuels but instead of the customers burning them in their cars the electricity companies would make up the difference

Also it's not the people who demonize oil its the company's trying to upstart the alternative energy production of the future. The established ancient energy companies do not want renewable energy (wind hydro especially nuclear) these companies and their forms of energy will simply put fossil fuels on the shelf given some time. So Big energy spend much money to run disinformation campaigns, lobby congress, foment protests everything to stop the energy that threatens them
