Minimum Wage was never meant to provide adequate living conditions, it is a bare MINIMUM, a starting point for you to work hard, get promoted, get pay raises, etc. Teenagers working at McDonald’s, that’s what it’s meant for.
If you are an able-minded adult complaining about minimum wage, you are a Tard.
Quoting: Vapor Trails Go look at the job listings in South Florida. 95% of them are paying $16.00 or less per hour. This will not cover a studio apt in the warzone sections of the region. To get $16 they want 10 years experience. The vast majority are under $15 hourly. Some parts of South Florida look like Afghanistan. I make much more at $30 hourly and its still very hard to survive, can only save $3-500 a month.
