Yeah, so for you and others in here going on about minimum wage, you're missing the point. OP isn't saying that minimum wage is or should be the basis for being able to afford a livelihood, he's merely pointing out that all wages (using minimum as a benchmark), haven't kept up with the rest of the economy, with the price of literally everything else skyrocketing in comparison.
