Things are more expensive because people want more than there was 50 years ago.
Homes are safer.
Water is cleaner.
People live longer.
Food tastes better.
Cars are safer.
Communication is easier.
Entertainment is exciting.
I'd much rather have the amenities afforded us versus what was available in 1972.
