Like one cup of milk has 300mg but only 100mg is absorbed. And we all need about 2000 a day. Not all of the calcium supplement will be absorbed either. About 30%. Eat calcium rich foods. Warm milk at night will release tryptophan also. Take some vitamin d at night as well. Most of us are really mineral deficient as well as vitamin. |

Can't sleep, not tired, when I do sleep i find myself on my knees on the edge of the bed, knees on ground, head on mattress, sleeping. Drugs don't work.... nothing. I've tried everything!! I tried one about 10 years back when I couldn't sleep, thinking "ah why not try this little tablet, and have a nice relaxing sleep". 14 hours later I woke up and it felt like I had been hit with a tree trunk. For the next day I felt weak, then I was okay. I've been afraid to try one since- but there is NO QUESTION that strong sleeping tablets will have you out like a light. The sleep is more like being knocked out than asleep...if that makes sense. |

Had the same issues years ago and a friend suggested that I take a 3 mile brisk walk every day after work before I get home, got a Walkman am radio to tune into talk shows and eat your main meal for lunch and a snack in the evening. It cured my sleep issues. |

Benzo's are addictive and dangerous, but if your mind races or you have stress or anxiety issues, try it Go have your hormones tested - cortisol, testosterone, etc Make sure you're not dealing with allergy, which could be a gut malfunction or food allergy - try an antihistamine like Benadryl or Advil PM, full dose Make sure you're not dealing with inflammation - use NSAIDS like Ibuprofen, full dose Take none of these regularly, once you find your problem make sure you fix it naturally or you'll do more harm |

Find something that calms you and will distract you from your job worries if possible. Do you have a dog? You should.
