Essentially, everyone (countries) agree to a minimal amount of laws that all member countries agree to follow. All countries could impose more laws, but those laws couldn’t violate the minimum amount agreed to. There really is nothing wrong with international laws as long as the laws and system of laws are fair. Consider the US constitution being being the constitution that is adopted worldwide. It would be, “international”, yet also the best system of Government that we know of. One thing to consider OP. The youth and their growth and development is fundamental to the continuation of a free, sovereign society. I don’t have a solution, but there would need to be in place provisions to protect youths education, but also something that ensures a curriculum consisting of the fundamental life skills of all people (besides just math, science, language, history), skills like cooking, shooting, basic coding, investing/financial basics. Ensuring our future, requires us to develop free thinking, and well rounded people. Good luck All |
