I've just been watching some videos of modern music festivals where the bands are either old has beens or younger bands full of soyboys. It seems a far cry from the Rock n' Roll of the 50s being considered the Devil's music, the political influence musicians had in the 60s, the anarchy of Punk in the 70s and the mainstream Satanism that metal had up until Marilyn Manson. |

There are still excellent bands, but they aren't in the limelight. Mainstream doesn't pay attention to them, you'll never see them at the grammys or anything like that.
Here's a good one:

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79824482 I'm not denying that there is good music out there. Like you say, it's not in the limelight therefore the artists not having an impact like they used to. |

You just won't find the good stuff in the mainstream, it all gets ignored in the face of autotune rap and boring pop like Eilish.
