Yeah, it's not an oversight, and it certainly has nothing to do with qualifications (no one in this administration is qualified to do more than breathe). There is a reason, though. With all the pride and rainbow nonsense being shat out on a daily basis, it would be very uncomfortable for the narrative if any cabinet member would be more likely to toss a homo from a building than to fly the queer flag.
