we are sad she is gone, but glad that her suffering is over, cancer is a rough way to go and there wasn't much left of her at the end.

as for loss, it is part of life.

in nature, the trees sprout, grow into saplings, become large and in charge, then blow down, wither away, succumb to disease, etc. at which point, fungii decay it down into nutrients for the next generation of trees. it's the cycle of life, and while it can be painful to watch a loved one pass, it is the nature of things.

Condolences. No matter who you are, it's difficult losing one's mother.

Goddess Blessings to her. May she find the Halls of her Kin.

didn't think i'd care as much as i do.. we had a lot of fights about religion while she was alive but now it just seems so petty.

I played this for my mom moments after she passed from pancreatic cancer. Trying not to cry. Six and a half years and I still miss her every day.

some friends and family who have died in the past stuck around for a few days and made themselves known.. mums just took off i think, glad to be free from earth!

Op, such beautiful words but you know what, you are clearly the only eulogy your "mum" needs because it is obvious her light shines through you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Lost my Mom to cancer too. The eulogy was beautiful and had I met your mom I would have liked her very much. May the Lord give you comfort.

Yah lost me when you said Mum didn't have any respect for other people property and would knock over "No trespassing signs". You mum and people like her have done tons of damage to property while hiking and if she did that on my yard or fence line I would have released the two Rott's I have on her.

funny story, we are selling her condo right now and have her photo up on the mantle. real estate agent said she was a good looking woman, lol. i wasn't offended, he was right!
