This is kind of sore point for me because I am a little ashamed that I speak that way sometimes. I think I tend to do it when I get a little confused. I think it goes hand in hand with brain fog.  Depends of region OP. There are many dialects that influences the way a person speaks. Its not uncommon to have several distinct ones in one country.
