I am a hospitalists. I saw very few hospitalized patients who were active smokers.

We would put them on a nicotine patch if they smoked. But I really cannot remember doing that very often if at all.

But I might have had only one or two max 18 months of treating hospitalized patients that I could remember.

They’ve been trying to make vaccines with tobacco plants for a long time actually. Well not super long but I’m pretty sure a decade or two. Nicotine itself is great actually. Hardly any negatives. Nicotine on its own is hardly even addictive, and is the most potent naturally occurring cognitive enhancer we have. Maybe it can help with covid symptoms, if there is such a thing. But it can prevent cognitive decline, increase concentration, focus, and perhaps they want to prevent people from healthy cognition, speed up cognitive decline, and maybe it's all bullshit. Who knows. In Cali, they banned flavored vape juice, well all flavors except tobacco flavored, which is still a flavor as its synthetically introduced into the solution to give it, well, flavor. And people bought it, didn't question it, or realize how fucking retarded it was to ban "flavors" other than the flavors they deemed "ok". After all, it was to help the health and safety of kids, and we all know how much they care about the health and safety of the kids these days. Don't stock up on cigarettes, start growing your own tobacco, start stocking up on every form of smoking cessation products containing nicotine that are covered by insurance, to start. They don't need to ban nicotine to keep people from "curing covid". They have biological and chemical weapons to "keep covid deadly". If anything, I'd say perhaps they don't want to give anyone the opportunity to enhance their brain function, but who really knows. It could also just be an outrage campaign.
