Dude, come on, there a million body cam videos of people being shot on YouTube. Very few of them show pools of blood (like in the movies). You might get some smearing on the hands, but often the ground under them is pretty clean. Now if someone gets thrown out a car or falls off a motorcycle, that creates a lot of surface area of blood leaking and that can be messy. But one hole can get blocked by internal organs or clothes. Also, remember that you are not full of blood. Your organs aren’t suspended in liquid blood.

Watch gore videos. Sometimes people barely bleed when you expect them to gush out blood, and sometimes blood will pour out like a fountain when you wouldn’t think it would.

My understanding of the approved story is that she was shot in the upper chest and the blood from the artery/vein went down her windpipe into her lungs and she suffocated.

Yeah right. She was shot by a 40 at relatively close range. That bullet probably would have been a hot law enforcement round and should have gone clean through 95lb Ashley, even if it hit her spine, providing lots of room for blood to gush out. Why was she taken out on her back where the blood would pool in her lungs and not carried on her side leaving her with a good lung?

That's an arterial neck hit. It will bleed almost always since the artery is right under the skin.

Torso hits tend to bleed into the chest or abdomen, plenty of space there for blood to gather.

Look at photos of treyvon for instance, direct hit to the heart, almost zero external blood.
