My understanding of the approved story is that she was shot in the upper chest and the blood from the artery/vein went down her windpipe into her lungs and she suffocated.

Yeah right. She was shot by a 40 at relatively close range. That bullet probably would have been a hot law enforcement round and should have gone clean through 95lb Ashley, even if it hit her spine, providing lots of room for blood to gush out. Why was she taken out on her back where the blood would pool in her lungs and not carried on her side leaving her with a good lung?

Where did the bullet end up, where was it found?

There is a good video I think on Wooz, the talking news dog, that shows the whole event and it sure looks staged to me.
