i know that I may be wrong, that's the way of our very nature and the existence of possibilities and free will not only of ours but many other things here and there.

but you don't see your own fallible nature, you use things that work to back up your claims because in the past they've worked and now they have rules and standardized procedures and it all works.... until it doesn't. and then you find a missing piece to the puzzle, and maybe it was an error and maybe it was an anomaly.... maybe it flipped the scienters on their heads and made them rewrite the 'facts'

even if you saw you wouldn't recognize it
even if you heard it you wouldn't understand it
even if you understood it you wouldn't know what to do with it

it's a curse. and you won't even consider doing anything to explore this concept because you believe your infallible. and that will be your fall
