There is a picture on the net somewhere of a small light aircraft taken in black and white of a huge snake reaching up trying to grab the plane from the tree tops
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83701901 That was Van Lierde’s sighting from a helicopter in the Belgian Congo in 1959. Snake appeared to be at least 50 ft. long, but when the photo was analyzed, it was determined to have been much longer, using nearby termite mounds as a reference - closer to 200 ft. In length. A search for the string “giant snake Congo helicopter 1959“ will find the photo.
