Further evidence of a simulation and most being NPCs.
Think about a video game, let's say a MMORPG.
The NPCs treat you the same and have the same scripts, regardless of if you are level 1 or level 50. They react the same if you have high rank or not, many achievements or not.
They have no awareness of growth or personal advancement.
THINK ABOUT IT.
