Well don't want to say this is crap but I don't think the Mexican cartels have enough people to do that. To many law enforcement and other organizations that would shutdown a cartel invasion. Now if you said the Chinese army and Mexican cartel would do an invasion well...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79453617

hesright

Unless there were to be some major unexpected event/events, in all other logical situations I just don't see this playing out. The cartels may have the weapons and the manpower, but their primary objective is one thing only - profit. The cartels make billions of dollars a year smuggling drugs, humans and anything else that makes them rich. If the US made dildos illegal you better believe the cartels would be sending over mules with backpacks full of buttplugs. A large scale invasion would most likely be bad for their bottom line. Besides, why waste money and resources sending armored vehicles over when they are making 2-5 grand a pop helping illegals crossover in their pajamas?

Re: Ex Army Ranger Intel - Texas
The question isn't about whether an ex-soldier told the truth
about his plans.

The question is whether the scenario could unfold as predicted.

The answer is undoubtedly, YES.

When the economy collapses and the roads are blocked, then
after a few weeks of chaos there will be some organized attack on property. The Ft Hood troops will be busy fighting
somewhere else, maybe in a couple different theaters.

Mexicans remember that the land was formerly theirs and
the NWO might supply them with everything they need to accomplish the mission.

most Army and Marine Corps 11Bs, Rangers, and 0311s I know of are either on VA disability, or working shit jobs like Burger King

VA disability is the best a grunt can do

sucks to be them ...

I'm looking to retire in three years, at 55, with $5 million in assets

Depends what happens.
If we keep pushing Russia, and they launch a
FIRST STRIKE against us, after the firestorms are
over, and the radiation dies down, 2-3 weeks or so,
comes the invasion(s).

The southern border states will be the first
stage of the invasion(s).

I would plan on staying underground for YEARS
if I could. There will be nothing above ground
worth saving anyway.

If there is a nuclear war it will be a limited exchange.

WE ALREADY KNOW that after the first detonation, any other missile still in the air withe 200 miles of it will be bricked and not hit its target. The Russians TRIED to overcome the EMP problem by using tube type computers for guidance and found them to be unreliable. This is why a nuclear strike must be carefully coordinated and not just a reaction.

Smart man with experience there.

Have no doubt his "buddies" each have bunkers too.

Surprising he would tell a stranger that but I know many people with loose lips so I keep that kinda intel private...and a few with the mindset of "I'll take from my neighbors" even in my family...and one that's really, really loud like he wants people across the lake to hear him chuckle

And no doubt the cartel have fleets of armored vehicles supplied to them courtesy of the United States Gub'ment. After Afghanistan I wouldn't doubt if they have battle tanks and choppers.

We're all gonna have our own scenarios too. I recommend being familiar with the immediate 10-20mile radius of your location. You should be able to navigate 100% of that without the need of a GPS or map. Anything beyond that scope is strictly supplies-minded.

Don't get too complicated with preps at the beginning. Your preps will evolved by itself. But medicine is extremely overlooked it seems. Know the medicinal properties of your local vegetation. And remember, not all weeds are bad.
