waiting for my daughter to get off work at the library, there was a "free books" bench next to the parking lot

I spotted a copy of "Little House on the Prairie" so I picked it up and glanced through, then I started to read it and discovered, hot damn this is really good

I took it home and read it and within a few weeks finished reading the whole series...

it's incredibly riveting entertainment -- great stuff... everybody should experience this rich slice of Americana
