What gate? Why 3 hours?
Quoting: Renaissance Woman Gate on friends property. He had to pick up supplies that couldn't be delayed So I got delayed. Taking my plants there. Sweet potato banana turmeric ginger etc. OK, that makes sense. Sounds like a plan! I love growing sweet potatoes. It's the official state crop here in NC. Fun to grow, fun to dig up when ready. NC is where all our slips come from. This is a different potato that came from Jamaica. Looks like pot leaf. [imgur] [ link to imgur.com (secure)] When you tell the truth answers are easy. Just too far north here in NJ for sweet potatoes, but regular potatoes are in and growing. Peanuts, too. Didn’t know until recently, but you can grow peanuts as far north as Newfoundland, Canada.
