Just too far north here in NJ for sweet potatoes, but regular potatoes are in and growing. Peanuts, too. Didn’t know until recently, but you can grow peanuts as far north as Newfoundland, Canada.

My teen daughter was even excited, and said it was the best wrong turn ever. Now that whole "Garden State" thing makes more sense. Had to pick up blueberries in south Jersey. The town had flowers in every lawn and an American flag out front. Though I went to the 1950's it was so cool driving down that street. The southern part is different from Newark.
