Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79569226 There was nothing insightful discussed about the movie because Joe Rogan did such a bad job in the interview. If I had a chance to interview Mike Judge, I would go through Idiocracy scene by scene to discuss his inspirations, the parallels to today, how he would change each part based on how things have changed, and other important aspects of what he intended to be portrayed and the censorship involved with the film. I am certain an entire book could be made out of that. |

This could have been one of the most meaningful interviews of all time, but it was completely botched. What do we get to hear? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83752842 You left out cell phones. We had to kill a lot of grass. I am so glad I don't pay money to listen to Joe Rogan. This isn't worth paying one cent for. Terrible interviewing here. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] It was still kinda interesting - that was really the only part I watched. I lost interest after that, but it was interesting how he thought it was a curse. Almost seems like he feels a form of blame for it. It's not his fault his documentary was accurate. I actually thought before the interview that he might have had some sort of higher ability to see where things could lead. In a way he kinda did based on the idea he got to do the movie in the first place (seeing the ads - and then expanding that forward). Overall, it was decent segment. But, not because of Joe. |

The answer is that Joe Rogan is controlled opposition, and exposing Idiocracy in detail to the masses is more than Rogan is allowed to do. Probably true. Innocent until proven guilty..but probably true. I think he has the same agent as AJ. Or they had the same agent for a long time. Coincidentally, Bill hicks had the same agent too. All three of them.. |

That's what makes the segment about Idiocracy hard to take. He is good at letting people talk -- so maybe not so dumb, really the one with Mike Judge was probably the worst I've heard him do , though Judge doesn't seem great at being interviewed, and Rogan couldn't say anything to get him in gear |
