The states have no say what goes on there. They can ignore the state laws and follow federal laws without any repercussions. So you will probably see abortion clinics popping up on military bases in the future. Quoting: Beep Boop The Ascendancy of the Scientific Dictatorship |

Quoting: Beep Boop That's not what is at stake here and the SCOTUS ruling only returns the decision back to the states (as it should) so it should have ZERO impact on the military. However how the military responded is what is the problem. |

No anarchy required, part of a long tradition. (Jackson was a prime piece of shit make no mistake) Just saying, it's not like it leads to anarchy. Called checks and balances in adult speak. Jackson was pro life. |

If they don’t have special powers how can it be balance of power in the three departments of our government It is estimated that there are more stars than grains of sand on earth; but more atoms exist in a single grain of sand than there are stars... gravity is a harsh reality. |

Called checks and balances in adult speak. and who is going to check and balance the military when the military says they will no longer abide by or defend the constitution???? the shit just hit the fan!!! the U.S. military said they will no longer abide by or defend one of the constitutionally enabled branches of the U.S. government. today they wont defend, protect or abide by what the judicial branch says tomorrow maybe they decide they won`t defend ,protect or abide by what the executive branch of the government says. america has a military coup in their near future. the shit just hit the fan. The shit's been hitting the fan for centuries then. The Supreme Court generally defers to the government’s interest and discretion, permitting the military to restrict the constitutional rights of service personnel in ways it does not permit in civilian contexts. America, how does it all work? |

Quoting: Tommy Hilfiger 79009740 The Republic is dead. People, wake the hell up. A pin is required. you are right, the U.S. military said we will do what we want regardless of what the supreme court says, the shit hit the fan, this is what everyone has been waiting for and they can`t see it. The president and congress can`t do anything to reign the military in now. the legislative branch will be cancelled next by the military, nancy piglosi will be screaming, "but we passed a law" while the military is dragging her out of her house.this is big, this is shit hit the fan stuff. the military said we will not obey the judicial branch of the government. so, whos gonna make them obey the legislative branch if the government if they don`t want to? this is huge! this is a military coup about to happen. watch and be amazed. |

But another observer says the decision will weaken the nation’s security. “By overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court has not only taken a wrecking ball to reproductive rights – it has taken a wrecking ball to military readiness,” Janessa Goldbeck, a Marine Corps veteran and veterans’ advocate, said in a news release Friday. “America will be less secure as a result,” she said. The court’s decision allows political bodies, such as legislatures or Congress, to enact laws protecting, restricting or banning abortions. Friday’s decision means women seeking abortions in restrictive states will need to travel to locations where it remains legal. That could be particularly burdensome to military personnel in states — or even large regions of the country — where abortions are banned. The decision exacerbates the existing obstacles military personnel and their families face in obtaining abortions, argues Goldbeck, CEO of the Vet Voice Foundation, a nonpartisan organization that advocates a greater role for veterans in civic leadership. Federal law allows military medical facilities to provide abortions only in cases of rape, incest or when a woman’s life is in danger. Tricare, the military’s health program for service members and their families, covers abortions only for those same circumstances.
